In His Steps

Over the past year, God handed me more than I thought I could bear.  It stretched my faith, refined my focus, called me deeper obedience and a bolder work for Him. I’ll be sharing the full story soon, but today I want to reflect on the posture that carried me through: walking In His Steps.

I’ve learned that alignment with God isn’t about perfection, it’s about pursuit. Before I get out of bed I ask God, “Lord, what would You have me to do today?” and “How do I align with what You have for me?” These questions have become my compass, guiding me through seasons of uncertainty, creativity, and total surrender.

This is not for the faint of heart.  It is a daily journey of  listening, yielding, and stepping forward even when the path seems lonely, dark, and steep..

This alignment has caused me to lay down my plans and depend solely on his promises.

There were days I felt stretched beyond my limits, days I questioned whether I heard Him right or did I even hear Him.  Many days I had to choose faith over fear. But in every step, I’ve seen His hand. In every pause, I’ve felt His presence.

I write this to encourage not to shrink back but to lean in. Ask Him what He has for your life. What steps should you take today.

When we walk In His Steps, we walk in purpose. And purpose always leads to promise.
