Values God

The first attribute of becoming a virtuous woman is to Value God and your relationship with Him. A virtuous woman (#Virtuous1 #V1_Lady #Proverbs31 #PV31) fears the Lord. The word fears in this context is simply to reverence, or value Him. In order to reverence the Lord with your life, you must have a relationship with Jesus (#fallinginlovewithJesus).

Romans 10:9 (NIV) If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This simple action is the first step to having an authentic relationship with God. It gives you the right to enter into an eternal relationship and it assures you the rights and privileges of being a child of the Most High God.

Like any relationship, once you have received the Lord into your life, you must continue to work on that relationship through Prayer, Reading His Word, and Growing in Faith.

The Word tells us that the greatest commandment is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” – Matthew 22:37

To Value God is to Reverence Him
